*Extended therapy sessions can offer spaciousness and depth for those who need more time to settle in, process at their own pace, or navigate significant life transitions and stressors. If you are wanting something over two hours, I would recommend you chat with me about intensives!
**Couples therapy is not covered by insurance because it does not fit neatly into a medical model of “treatable” diagnoses — a reality that is both pathologizing and rooted in colonial, capitalist frameworks that communicate relational healing is not valid unless it can be commodified. Consequently, I offer couples therapy via private pay. My rates are for the session as a whole and are not charged per person. The cost can be shared among all members of the relationship or dynamic seeking support — whether that's a couple, throuple, or another constellation.
***My standard rate for a 60-minute couples session is $250. While I recommend 90-minute sessions for the depth and care they allow, I also want to honor access.
Intensive Rates are agreed upon via during our consultation and will be based off of the package we co create. Anything over two hours will come with breaks for bathroom, snacks, hydrating and rest for our nervous systems before diving back in.
Quality mental health care should be accessible. In an effort to contribute to this accessibility, I am an in network provider with Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) of MN. I accept payment via BCBS insurance card, credit/debit card, health savings card or flexible spending account card.
I work with Headway for all insurance needs, ensuring that clients can easily use their insurance benefits for therapy. Headway handles everything from checking your benefits to managing claims, so you can focus on your healing journey without the stress of paperwork. If using insurance, you will receive a client portal through Headway in addition to your file through Sessions Health. This information will be explained to you during our consultation and a follow up email.
Regardless of using insurance or not, I do require a credit card to be kept on file.

I do maintain a limited number of sliding scale rates, designated for clients who cannot afford my full fee. My reduced fee/sliding scale rates are based on the “Green Bottle Method”. Please click here to learn more.
If this is your circumstance, please discuss it with me during our initial consultation.

If you do not have insurance, have an insurance through a different network or simply do not want to use insurance, then you would pay my full rates, which are listed above.

Amazing! I would provide you with a superbill after each attended session, which you can submit to your insurance company for partial reimbursement. If you would like to read more about this option, travel over to the “Navigating Insurance"‘ page

Together, we will determine what frequency and length of our sessions fits best for you. If you are using insurance for services, your insurance company will determine length of sessions. All other services including consultation, letter writing etc. are priced on a case by case basis.
Please note that payment is due at the time of service. If insurance is used, your card on file will be charged after insurance has processed –this includes your deductible or copay due. If not using insurance, I will charge the card kept on file, which is collected in your registration paperwork.
All services are offered in person or online
Good Faith Estimate
The No Surprises Act was designed to protect consumers from receiving unexpected medical bills by requiring all psychologists and health care providers to give uninsured and self pay patients an estimate of costs for services that they offer. A good faith estimate will be provided to you during our consultation and/or intake appointment as well in your registration paperwork.
